Fresh start

Help shape what Wellworthy covers in 2026.

The Brief

Happy New Year, Wellworthy readers!

If you’re easing into the day, you’re not alone. January naturally comes with a lot of pressure, so we’ll keep this one simple.

As we map out what to cover in 2026, we’d love your input.

The ask: Reply to this email with one thing you’re curious about in wellness right now. It can be specific, broad, or unexpected — we’d love to hear it.

Want to go deeper? Share your thoughts in our one-minute survey to help shape what we focus on this year.

— Cheers!

The Anti-Resolution Guide is here!

Most New Year’s resolutions don’t last.

Not because people don’t care, but because the setup rarely survives real life.  Goals are set in isolation, routines change overnight, and real life inevitably catches up fast.

We worked with performance chef and hybrid athlete Dan Churchill to look at what high performers do instead. Rather than chasing outcomes, his approach centers on building systems that fit into everyday life. Habits are designed to compound gradually over time, instead of falling apart under pressure.

To make the ideas practical, Dan created a Legendary Toolkit —  a simple PDF that turns his principles into a framework you can return to throughout the year.

On Our Radar

A few themes showing up for 2026 →

Oral care arrives. New research connects gum health directly to the big stuff: heart health, Alzheimer’s, and the gut. In 2026, expect brushing and flossing to feel less like a chore and more like the ultimate preventative power move.

Smile House offers a new approach to dentistry.

Wellness travel replaces the "vacation." Last year’s growth made that clear. More travelers are booking detox retreats and recovery weekends over traditional vacations with a simple goal of walking through their front door feeling better than when they left.

Longevity gets personal. We’ve moved away from vague "anti-aging" tips toward structured, month-to-month memberships. In 2026, we expect more testing and personalized protocols that take the guesswork out of aging well.

The Ozempic effect accelerates. GLP-1s changed the script on weight loss by focusing on hormones rather than calories. That shift has put the spotlight on peptide stacking, opening the door to better support for energy, performance, and longevity that goes far beyond just the number on the scale.

The three parts of Noom’s Proactive Health Microdose GLP-1 program.

Biometrics get intimate. Snoring, stool, saliva — It’s all on the table now. Our bet? A massive boom in at-home diagnostics in 2026 that lets you measure the sophisticated signals your body is sending, without a doctor's visit.

Recovery reshapes workouts. The era of "training until you wreck yourself" is over. Recovery is the ultimate fitness flex. While tools like cold plunges and infrared saunas are great, the real trend is a mindset shift: prioritizing consistency and feeling energized post-workout, rather than fried.

Women’s health becomes proactive. Finally, the industry is catching up to women’s real lives. Expect more conversations and better solutions for menopause, brain health, and long-term strength that are designed to fit into a busy daily routine.
