The Health Stack: Jennifer Jacobs
Former Peloton instructor and Ladder coach Jennifer Jacobs talks balancing fitness with raising teenagers and managing multiple businesses.
Longevity focus: Jacobs has shifted to sustainable strength. "My main focus is maintaining strength and mobility with a longevity mindset, making sure I can move well and feel strong for decades to come."
Efficiency: Her training philosophy centers on maximum impact in minimal time. "I prioritize efficient, purposeful workouts that fit into a busy schedule without sacrificing results or recovery to reduce stress and support overall well-being."
Daily rhythm: Rather than cramming workouts into a packed schedule, Jacobs weaves movement throughout her day: morning activation, midday strength training between work, and evening walks for physical and mental wellness.
Her stack: To support these practices, Jacobs leans on a few go-to tools:
Omorpho G-Vest (Weighted Vest): “Essential for my evening strolls to add weight without compromising my form to burn more calories. It’s the only weighted vest that doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a weighted vest.”
Bowflex Adjustable Dumbbells: “Versatile so that you can lift at the right intensity to see results.”
Travel Size Gym: “As someone who travels often, my Travel Size Gym helps me stay consistent with my training, no matter where I am, from strength, cardio, and mobility.”
Hyperice Normatec Elite Compression Boots: “Help me recover faster and feel fully revived after my strength sessions. I look forward to it like it’s a massage in the comfort of my own home.”
KO Matcha: “My daily caffeine fix without the jitters.”
Lumara Red Light Mask & Pad: “The mask is a must to rejuvenate my complexion, reducing wrinkles, pigmentation, and boosting my skin’s elasticity.”

Interesting stories we spotted this week →
Trailhead. Nike ACG introduced the All Conditions Racing Department, a roster of 22 elite trail runners who will test and co-create new off-road gear. Led by 2025 Western States winner Caleb Olson, Nike is looking for white space in the running category while doubling down on an athlete- and innovation-first approach to stand out.

Nike athlete Caleb Olson is a member of the All Conditions Racing Department.
Sleep debt. A five-year study of 1.3M Withings users found Americans average 32 minutes less sleep a night, equal to 24 nights lost each year. Less sleep raised cardiovascular risk and weight, while just 27 extra minutes cut mortality from heart failure, stroke, and hypertension. Bottom line: protect your sleep like your life depends on it — because it does.
Jersey swap. Vuori signed longtime Nike trainer Kirsty Godso and British tennis star Jack Draper, both leaving the Swoosh for the upstart. Not alone, athletes are rethinking endorsements with wellness in mind: NFL superstar Christian McCaffrey joined performance brand while on earth™, and Bengals QB Joe Burrow partnered with ALO on a new collection (More on ALO x Burrow below).
Back again. Lululemon is reviving its Vancouver SeaWheeze Half Marathon and Sunset Festival on August 6–8, 2026. Last held in 2019, the fan-favorite race mixes miles, music, gear drops, and seawall views. Registration opens January 2026, with the festival format and Stanley Park route set to return.
Starting line. Run coaching app Runna introduced a race discovery platform that makes finding events easier than ever. From 5Ks to ultras, on roads or trails, the one-stop hub helps runners set their next goal. Recently acquired by Strava, the platform is expanding beyond training plans to own the full race-day journey.
