This week: Helen Leland, founder of The Bomb Co and Sessions. Trading extremes for realistic habits, Helen focuses on self-loving wellness that supports energy, mood, and recovery.

Helen Leland, founder of The Bomb Co and Sessions.

Here’s Helen to share his Health Stack:

  • Supplement Cocktail: “I’ve been loving a little ‘wellness cocktail’ I mix in the morning: Kion aminos and creatine, ARMRA colostrum, and a Sakara liquid multivitamin all in one go. It covers muscle recovery, cellular support.”

  • Blender Bomb Smoothies: “My first meal of the day is always a smoothie made with a Blender Bomb. It keeps my energy steady, cravings low, and digestion on point.”

  • Instant Hydration Electrolytes: “I’m a huge believer in starting the day hydrated. After hot lemon water, I mix up a pack of Instant Hydration electrolytes to rehydrate after sleep, support energy, and curb that groggy brain fog.”

  • Open Meditation App: “I use the Open app for breath-work, sound healing, and guided meditations when I need a reset or want to set an intention.”

  • oi tape Mouth Tape: “Mouth taping at night has been a game-changer for my sleep quality and energy. It also sculpted my jaw! Better breathing means better recovery, and I wake up feeling more rested.”

  • Sessions: “Just 10 minutes a day can completely shift your state. I’ll do some breathwork, somatic shakes, lymph love – even vagus nerve massage to help me shift from stress back into clarity.”

  • Cured CBD Gummies: “Instead of a glass of wine at night, I wind down with a Cured CBD gummy. I’ve noticed deeper sleep and more balanced moods the next day.”

On Our Radar

Interesting stories we spotted this week →

Sleep consistency. A global study of 88,000 adults showed irregular sleep schedules are linked to 90+ diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, and mood disorders. Getting 7–8 hours of sleep matters, but so does when you get it. The body craves rhythm, not just rest.

Walk faster, age slower. Researchers found that increasing walking pace to ~100 steps per minute significantly improves endurance, strength, and energy levels in older adults.. It’s not about hitting 10,000 steps. Shifting from a casual stroll to a brisk pace unlocks longevity gains.

Dosage discrepancies. Researchers tested 110 children's melatonin products and found active ingredient content ranged from 0% to 667% of label claims. If you’re buying supplements, look for brands that are third-party tested so you can trust what’s inside.

Blue space benefits. Studies suggest blue spaces (oceans, lakes, rivers) reduce stress and boost happiness by triggering "soft fascination", a gentle, calming mental state. Think of water as meditation powered by nature.
